Internationally known Sufi Saint Maulana Zainulabedin Kazmi will visit Rising Sun Yoga, 13550 Dix-Toledo Road, Southgate, at 7 p.m. Monday.
Originally from India, Kazmi comes from a 1,500-year-old unbroken Golden Chain of Sufi Masters and has spent more than 50 years serving millions of people around the world.
Kazmi will speak about spirituality, mercy, love, unity and peace during the event as well as lead zikr, a praise and chanting ceremony in remembrance of God to instill comfort in people's hearts.
He also will offer spiritual guidance and healing to the crowd.
Visitors can bring a bottle of water and a bottle of olive oil to be blessed.

"Busting the Myths of Ethanol" will be the topic of a discussion at 6:30 p.m. July 1 at Copeland Center, 2306 Fourth St., Wyandotte.
Lisa Scramlin, communication and programs coordinator of the Corn Marketing Program of Michigan and the Michigan Corn Growers Association, will be the featured speaker.
With gas hovering at $4 a gallon, the talk will address the impact of corn into ethanol on the nation's energy dependence and economy as well as how the process will affect food prices.
