BUG — In this psychological thriller, a lonely waitress with a tragic past, Agnes, rooms in a run-down motel, living in fear of her abusive, recently paroled ex-husband. But when Agnes begins a tentative romance with Peter, an eccentric, nervous drifter, she starts to feel hopeful again — until the first bugs arrive. Stars Ashley Judd, Harry Connick Jr., Lynn Collins, Br̀an O'Byrne and Michael Shannon. Rated R (Lionsgate Films). MJR

PIRATES OF THE CARIBBEAN: AT WORLD'S END — In this third "Pirates" film, Will Turner (Orlando Bloom) and Elizabeth Swann (Keira Knightley) are allied with Capt. Barbossa (Geoffrey Rush) in a desperate quest to free Capt. Jack Sparrow (Johnny Depp) from a trap in Davy Jones' locker while the terrifying ghost ship, The Flying Dutchman, wreaks havoc across the Seven Seas. Now headed beyond the very ends of the Earth, each must ultimately choose a side in a final, titanic battle, as not only their lives and fortunes, but the entire future of the freedom-loving pirate way hangs in the balance. BRIDGE TO TERABITHIA — An 11-year-old boy has his life changed forever when he befriends the class outsider, a girl. Together they create Terabithia, an imaginary kingdom filled with giants, trolls and other magical beings. Rated PG (Walt Disney Pictures). AP

DELTA FARCE — Larry (Larry the Cable Guy) joins his buddies (Bill Engvall and DJ Qualls), for a relaxing weekend of drinking and target practice; however, the trio are mistaken for Army reservists and loaded onto an army plane headed for Fallujah, Iraq. Instead, they're ejected in a Humvee somewhere over Mexico. Convinced they're in the Middle East, they save a rural village from a siege of bandits and become local heroes. Rated PG-13 (Lionsgate Films). MJR

DINOSAURS ALIVE! 3D —From the sand dunes of Mongolia's Gobi Desert to the sandstone buttes of New Mexico, the film follows American Museum of Natural History paleontologists as they explore some of the greatest dinosaur finds in history. IMAX

DISTURBIA — Julie (Carrie-Anne Moss) works night and day to support herself and her son, Kale (Shia LaBeouf), a troubled teen under house arrest. Kale's interests turn outside the windows of his suburban home toward those of his neighbors, one of whom he suspects is a serial killer. Also stars David Morse. Rated PG-13 (Paramount Pictures). THE EX — A slacker (Zac Braff) is forced to work for his father-in-law after his pregnant wife (Amanda Peet) steps away from her high-paying job. Also stars Jason Bateman. Rated PG-13 (Weinstein Company). MJR

FRACTURE — Ted Crawford (Anthony Hopkins) readily admits to shooting his wife and is arraigned for a seemingly slam-dunk case for young assistant district attorney Willy Beachum (Ryan Gosling). In a tense duel of intellect and strategy, Crawford and Beachum both learn that a "fracture" can be found in every ostensibly perfect facade. Rated R (New Line Cinema). MJR

GEORGIA RULE — When Rachel (Lindsay Lohan), a rebellious teenager, crashes her car, she has broken the final rule in mom Lily's (Felicity Huffman) San Francisco home. Lily sends Rachel to her own mother's Idaho farm, where matriarch Georgia (Jane Fonda) lives by a number of unbreakable rules, demanding anyone who shares her home to do the same. HURRICANE ON THE BAYOU — Viewers go on a breathtaking tour of the Louisiana bayou and the city of New Orleans, a place overflowing with life, music and natural beauty. IMAX

THE INVISIBLE — High school senior Nick Powell (Justin Chatwin) is suddenly attacked and left for dead. He's caught in a haunting limbo where he can observe the world of the living, but they can't see him. Stars Marcia Gay Harden, Chris Marquette and Alex O'Laughlin. Rated PG-13 (Hollywood Pictures). PREMONITION — Linda Hanson (Sandra Bullock) receives the news that her husband, Jim (Julian McMahon), has died in a car accident. But, when she wakes up the next morning to find him alive and well, she assumes it was all a dream. Rated PG-13 (Tristar Pictures). AP

THE REAPING — A former Christian missionary (Hilary Swank) who lost her faith after her family was tragically killed has become an expert in disproving religious phenomena. Rated R (Warner Bros.). AP

SHOOTER — Bobby Lee Swagger (Mark Wahlberg), a former Army sniper who leaves the military after a mission goes bad, is reluctantly pressed back into service. Double-crossed again, Swagger begins his revenge, which will take down the most powerful people in the country. Rated R (Paramount Pictures). AP

SHREK THE THIRD —When Shrek's (the voice of Mike Meyers father-in-law, King Harold (John Cleese), suddenly dies, he becomes king of Far Far Away. That is, until he can find a suitable king to take his place. With the help of his trusted companions, Donkey (Eddie Murphy) and Puss In Boots (Antonio Banderas), the ogre seeks out the most promising candidate, Fiona's (Cameron Diaz) cousin, Artie (Justin Timberlake), a high school slacker. SPIDER-MAN 3 — Peter Parker (Tobey Maguire) has finally managed to strike a balance between his devotion to M.J. (Kirsten Dunst) and his duties as a superhero. When Peter's suit suddenly turns jet-black, his powers are enhanced and he is transformed, bringing out the dark, vengeful side of his personality. TEENAGE MUTANT NINJA TURTLES — After the defeat of their arch nemesis, The Shredder, the Turtles have grown apart as a family. 300 — Based on Frank Miller's epic novel, this is the retelling of the ancient battle of Thermopylae in which Spartan King Leonidas (Gerard Butler) and his army of 300 soldiers fight to the death against Persian Emperor Xerxes. Rated R (Warner Bros.). AP

28 WEEKS LATER — In this sequel to "28 Days Later," six months have passed since the virus wiped out London. British citizens are now returning to District One as part of an American military project to repopulate and restart the city. But the infection still lives among carriers who show no outward symptoms. Rated R (Fox Atomic). MJR, AMC
