Comic Steve Bills will be in the spotlight at 9 p.m. today and tomorrow with featured act Russ Brown.

All Star Comedy Club, a new venue for laughs in the Downriver area, features comedians every Wednesday through Saturday inside Thunderbowl Lanes, 4200 Allen Road, Allen Park.

Comedian Bryan McCree will take the stage at 8 and 10:30 p.m. today and tomorrow.

Show times are 8 p.m. Wednesdays and Thursdays, and 8 and 10:30 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays. Admission is $5.

The show is a journey through some of the Second City's funniest musical moments, from the country's dependence on gasoline to what lies on the other side of 8 Mile.

Enrollment is under way now for Intro to Writing and Beginner Improv classes through the Second City Training Center.

The Second City's Summer Comedy Camp for Kids will run June 16 to 26, July 7 to 17, July 21 to 31 and Aug. 4 to 14. Registration for the 2008 camp is under way.

Camps meet Mondays through Thursdays and are split into age groups with a class show at the end of each term.

Students learn effective team building and public speaking/communication skills from professionals in a nonjudgmental environment.
