The ongoing problem of school violence is the subject of The Downriver Youth Performing Arts Center's "Bang, Bang You're Dead," on stage at 7:30 p.m. next Friday and May 3, 9 and 10 at the Trenton Village Theatre, 2447 W. Jefferson.
The intense story follows a troubled student and the resulting violence at his school.
Admission is free for the production and includes a postperformance discussion. Due to the subject matter, it's requested that a parent accompany children younger than age 13.
