As they prepare to head to Pittsburgh for the annual Regional Dance America Festival, Ballet Americana dancers want to show the home crowd their newest moves, and they'll do so with a performance at 7 p.m. tomorrow at the Flat Rock Community Auditorium, 25600 Seneca.

The program will include three new works, choreographed by Leif Lorenz and Bill Evans: "Swan Lake Excerpts," "Salute," and "Sunset Gathering," their performance piece for the festival.

Creative Characters, youth theater of Allen Park, will be performing "How to Eat Like A Child And Other Lessons in Not Being a Grown-Up" based on the book by Delia Ephron, John Forster, and Judith Kahan, at the Allen Park Presbyterian Church, 7101 Park St., at 7:30 p.m. today and tomorrow and 3 p.m. Sunday.

Children give grown-ups a refresher course in how to be a kid in this comical musical. Some of the musical numbers are "How to Torture Your Sister," "The Brag Rag," and "We Refuse to Fall Asleep," with other lessons about prank phone calls, driving in a car, and behaving at school.

Ecorse Community High School students will perform a one-hour presentation of Shakespeare's "Julius Caesar" at 8 p.m. April 28 at Barnes and Noble Booksellers, 3120 Fairlane Drive, Allen Park.

The performance will open the store's weeklong "Spring Media Specialist/Educator" event. It is free to the general public.

Wyandotte Community Theatre presents the rock musical "Godspell" in the Wilson Middle School auditorium, 1275 15th St., Wyandotte, at 7:30 p.m. May 4, 5, 11 and 12.

Despite his own success, composer Antonio Salieri becomes consumed with jealousy over the incomparable talent God has given to his contemporary, the crass, immature Mozart. He sets out to avenge himself on Mozart and God.

The Henry Ford Community College Theatre for Young Audiences program will present "The Jungle Book" today through Sunday, as well as April 27 - 29 in the Adray Auditorium, inside the MacKenzie Fine Arts building on the HFCC main campus, 5101 Evergreen Road, Dearborn.

This 70-minute show is designed for kindergartners through seventh-graders and includes audience participation, slapstick song and dance.

"Forbidden Broadway," the hilarious musical comedy that pokes fun at Broadway's biggest shows and brightest stars is coming to Orchestra Hall at the Max M. Fisher Music Center at 10:45 a.m. and 8 p.m. May 3; at 8:30 p.m. May 4 and 5; and at 3 p.m. May 6.
