Chick Corea and Gary Burton, two of jazz music's icons, will perform together at 8 p.m. today. Tickets range from $28.50 to $62.

The Music Hall's new Jazz Cafe is having a free Jazz Party featuring the Spencer Barefield Quartet at 9 p.m. tomorrow.

For those who like their jazz a little funky, George Duke and Roy Ayers will perform at 8 p.m. April 27. Tickets are $39.50 to $62.

Jazz pianist Joe Sample and singer Randy Crawford will perform at Music Hall at 8 p.m. May 4. Tickets range from $39.50 to $62.

Christina Aguilera's "Back to Basics" 2007 North American Tour will roll into The Palace of Auburn Hills at 7:30 p.m. Monday with special guests The Pussycat Dolls and Danity Kane.

The University Musical Society closes out the 2006-07 season with a flurry of events in April.

Canadian soprano Measha Breuggergosman returns, with pianists J. J. Penna and William Bolcom at 8 p.m. Thursday at Hill Auditorium, 825 N. University Ave., Ann Arbor.

Tickets range from $10 to $50.

Two of the world's most accomplished guitarists take on 400 years of music as John Williams and John Etheridge play at 8 p.m. next Friday at Rackham Auditorium, 915 E. Washington St., Ann Arbor.

Tickets range from $22 to $44.

The Jerusalem Quartet, four musicians from Israel who have played together since 1993 and developed a lively, spontaneous style, come to Rackham Auditorium at 4 p.m. April 14.

Tickets range from $20 to $40.

The Netherlands Bach Society will play Bach's Mass in B Minor, one of his most admired works, at 8 p.m. April 19 at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, 2250 E. Stadium Blvd., Ann Arbor.

Tickets are $35 for general admission, $45 for reserved seating.

Chicago's Trinity Irish Dance Company comes to the Power Center, 121 Fletcher St., Ann Arbor, at 8 p.m. April 20 and 21. Tickets range from $18 to $40.

The group will give a one-hour "family performance" at 1 p.m. April 21. Tickets are $16 for adults, $8 for children.

Los Folkloristas bring the music of Latin America to Rackham Auditorium at 4 p.m. April 22. The seven-member group plays with over 100 instruments, including things such as dried butterfly cocoons, turtle shells and a Yaqui water drum.

The Bill Lucas Quartet, makes its debut at Jazz Club at The Max at 8 and 10 p.m. next Friday in The Music Box at the Max M. Fisher Music Center, 3711 Woodward Ave., Detroit.

Born and raised in metropolitan Detroit, Bill Lucas is an active member of the freelance, jazz and chamber music communities. He has appeared as a jazz soloist in many popular jazz clubs and nightspots of Vail, Colo., as well as at the Detroit and Montreux, Switzerland, jazz festivals.

Tickets are $20.

The Detroit Symphony Orchestra and special guest vocalist Dee Daniels will perform a "Ray Charles Tribute" at 10:45 a.m. and 8 p.m. Thursday; 8:30 p.m. next Friday and April 14; and at 3 p.m. April 15 in Orchestra Hall at the Max M. Fisher Music Center.

The concert will feature such memorable hits as "Hit the Road Jack," "Georgia on My Mind" and "What'd I Say," and will be led by guest conductor Chelsea Tipton II.

The renowned New York-based Vanguard Jazz Orchestra will play at Orchestra Hall at 8 p.m. April 20.

Superheroes will help the Detroit Symphony Orchestra close out the current season of "Super Saturdays at The Max," when the X-Men join the DSO for the final National City Young People's Concerts of the 2006-07 season at 10 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. April 21 in Orchestra Hall at the Max M. Fisher Music Center.

With the help of powerful music, favorite X-Men characters will battle evil and show how important it is to celebrate our differences.

Tickets range from $10 - $46.

Meanwhile, at 10:30 a.m. in The Music Box at The Max, the Eletfa Hungarian Folk Band will introduce little ones, ages 3 to 6, to the rich culture of Hungary through song, dance, narration and demonstrations.

Youngsters attending any of the concerts can participate in KidZone, a festival of fun children's activities, in the atrium lobby of The Max.

One of world music's most legendary artists, sitar virtuoso and composer Ravi Shankar, will make his debut in Orchestra Hall at the Max M. Fisher Music Center at 8 p.m. April 21.

Shankar appears in concert with his daughter, Anoushka Shankar, also a sitarist and the youngest person ever to be nominated for a Grammy Award in the category of World Music. Also performing are Tanmoy Bose and Kenji Ota.

Tickets range from $25 - $90.

One of today's most celebrated and beloved pianists, Andre Watts returns to Orchestra Hall to celebrate his 60th birthday and the 50th anniversary of his professional debut at 3 p.m. April 22.
