"The Master Builder," playwright Henrik Ibsen's tale of guilt, love and desperation, is playing in rotating repertory through May 17 at The Hilberry Theatre in Detroit.
The tragic tale tells the story of Halvard Solness, an aging builder struggling to maintain his crumbling career while reaching out for the love of a younger woman.

The 2007-08 season of The Theatre Ensemble's continues at Meadow Brook Theatre with Neil Simon's "Biloxi Blues" through Sunday.
Simon's alter ego, New Yorker Eugene Jerome, is on his way to boot camp in Biloxi, Miss., during World War II in this classic fish-out-of-water story.
