Laugh it up at Downriver's own comedy club, The Comedy Room, at Portofino, 3455 Biddle Ave., Wyandotte.

Comedy host Sal Demilio takes the stage at 9 p.m. today and tomorrow with featured act Phonecia Banks.

Tickets are $10 Fridays and $12 Saturdays. Dinner and show packages are $25.

Billy Ray Bauer also takes the stage at 9 p.m. today to benefit the Downriver Mustangs Girls Amateur Athletic Union Basketball Club. Tickets for the fund-raiser show are $20 plus a two-drink or $5 minimum.

Have a chuckle for a good cause at another comedy fund-raiser for Logan Moore at 6:30 p.m. tomorrow at The Comedy Room.

Improvisational and stand-up comedy from Mark Cripps, Kelly Lomas, Michael Lomas and Matthew Perry will be part of the show. Tickets are $20 and include beverages.

Four-year-old Logan Moore recently was diagnosed with a rare type of leukemia and is at Children's Hospital of Western Ontario.

Music and comedy with an Irish twist will get the party started during the Irish Comedy Tour at The Comedy Room.

A triple headliner bill features jokesters Pat Godwin, Jim Paquette and Detroit native Derek Richards. Show times are 9 p.m. next Friday, 8 and 10:30 p.m. March 8.
