Comedian Chrissy Burns takes the stage at 9 p.m. today and tomorrow with featured act Jeff Dwoskin.

"Comedy For a Cause" to benefit The Senior Alliance comes to Joey's Comedy Club, 36071 Plymouth Road, Livonia, at 8 p.m. Thursday.

Tickets are $15 and are good for half-price pizza during the show or a 25 percent discount at Kickers All-American Grill, located below the comedy club.

Eighty percent of the proceeds from each ticket go to The Senior Alliance, a community agency based in Wayne that offers programs, advocacy and assistance to disabled and older residents in 34 area communities.
