Comedy for a Cause

With Valentines Day right around the corner, many of us are beginning to think about telling our significant others, friends, and family how much we care. However, you may be feeling tired of sending the traditional flowers and candy. If you are, The Senior Alliance has a great solution for you that will prove to be entertaining, and even more importantly, make a difference in the lives of many disabled and older individuals throughout southern and western Wayne County.

On Thursday, February 14th, 2008, The Senior Alliance will be teaming up with Joey's Comedy Club in Livonia for a night of entertainment, great food, and spirits in which 80% of the proceeds from every ticket sold will be donated back to TSA. These proceeds will assist TSA in sustaining its mission to provide advocacy, programming, planning, contracting, funding and personnel necessary to enable older persons to function as independently as possible in their community.

Tickets can be purchased for a reasonable $15. In addition, be sure to bring your "Comedy for a Cause" ticket that evening and you will receive 25% off your meal at Kickers All American Grill (the restaurant/grill located below Joey's Comedy Club) or 1/2 off pizza during the show. Reservations will be required if you plan on having dinner, so make sure to call quickly and let the operator know you are supporting The Senior Alliance and the "Comedy for a Cause" by calling (734) 261-0555.
